OKR Institute In an increasingly dynamic business world, there is a need for a company to have dynamic performance management tools. Today's performance management tools are often too stiff and unable to adapt to the fast and massive changes. Therefore, the OKR Institute offers a dynamic and flexible performance management tool, i.e. OKR (Objective and Key Results). OKR is a performance management methodology that has been used by large companies nowadays, for instance: Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Amazon, Samsung, Facebook, etc. Our OKR Institute's main task is to empower individuals and organizations to be able to run OKR effectively and efficiently.
OKR stands for Objective and Key Results.
The three OKR keywords are Objective, Key Results, and Initiative. Objectivesare aggressive, memorable, and qualitative descriptions of what we want to achieve. Then, these Objective will be transformed into Key Results that describe the outcome we want to achieve, as well as how we maintain our performance. Initiatives are projects, which include all actions related to the completion of the OKR.
The strengths of OKR compared to other performance management systems (such as KPI or BSC) is that the approach is very flexible with a dense monitoring period (weekly or quarterly) so that the company’s objective and performance measurement can change dynamically, and per organizational changes, both internal and external.
